Jared Kenneth Sprunk, a Hennepin County sheriff’s deputy, is facing charges for allegedly raping a woman off-duty. The charges stem from hours of drunken partying at a bar and after the victim's refusal to leave, Sprunk allegedly became forceful and sexually assaulted her. He has been placed on administrative leave pending an external investigation.
