Bears meet with NFL committee stadium — and plan to do so again in May

The NFL's Stadium Committee held a virtual meeting to discuss potential sites in both Arlington Heights and Hammond, Indiana, and plan to meet again in May. The only two remaining sites are the 326 acres owned by the team and the plot near Wolf Lake in Hammond. The Bears are also expected to provide an update at the NFL's in-person quarterly meeting in Orlando. The meeting is part of the NFL’s G-evaluation program, which allows teams to borrow up to $250 million for stadium construction.
