Cities with the fastest-growing home prices in the Amarillo metro area

The real estate frenzy, fueled by the coronavirus pandemic, continues to grow despite rising mortgage rates and decreased prices in some areas. The typical home value in the United States was $365,545 in March, 0.8% higher than the previous year, according to Stacker. However, some areas are still seeing price jumps compared to the previous years. Stacker compiled a list of the most expensive homes in the Amarillo, Texas metro area using data from Zillow. The chart also lists the typical home values since January 2018.
