The questionnaire includes questions about their judicial philosophy, which includes fairness, community impact and principled neutrality. Candidates must answer these questions in 200 words or less. Sharee Sanders Gordon, a former teacher and Los Angeles deputy city attorney, believes justice should be practical, accessible and meaningful in everyday life. She also believes that justice is best delivered when it is fair, balanced and rooted in respect for all. Gordon's decisions as a judge would be grounded in a lifetime of community service.
