Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy Guthrie, was abducted from her Tucson, Ariz. home in January 31 and reported missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona, seven weeks ago. Her family has issued a plea for renewed attention to the case, urging the public to consult camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations, and conversations that may hold significance. The family believes Tucsonans and the greater southern Arizona community may hold the key to solving the case. Nancy was last seen at her Tucson home at 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 and was reported missing by her family on Feb. 1 after a concerned friend alerted them that she didn't show up for a church service that morning. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has stated that he believes foul play may have been involved in her disappearance. The sheriff highlighted the limited mobility and daily medication for her survival, which he said indicates a lack of physical health issues.
