Two brothers, Xavier Torres and John Gonzales, are accused of luring Gabriel Montaño, 20, to their home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before fatally shooting him during an argument. Each man is charged with one count of murder and another with conspiracy to commit a felony and unlawful possession of a handgun by a person under 19. The brothers were arrested and booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center on Wednesday. Police found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head outside of the residence and detained Gonzales and Torres near the scene. Both men claimed self-defence against Montaeno in relation to him pulling a gun out first, but gave inconsistent statements during their investigation. The two men also said they had armed themselves with an AR15, among other guns, as they knew Montaña had guns with attached switches and they wanted equal firepower.
