Lisa Rasmussen, who was present during a shooting at the Prince Law Group offices in 2024, has filed a lawsuit against the estate of Dennis Prince, the firm's namesake, and his wife, Ashley Prince. The lawsuit alleges that Dennis Prince and his law firm, through them, were negligent in knowing about a potential security threat associated with the deposition that day but failing to give warnings to those who would be in attendance. The complaint was filed in District Court and alleges that Prince, as the primary decision-maker for the Princelaw Group, knew of the potential danger and failed to act upon it. The shooting has led to several lawsuits in Southern Nevada, including a wrongful death suit by lawyers for Dennis Prince’s ex-wives and the mother of his sons.
