Family seeks answers after man is detained by ICE at WOW Supermarket

Federal immigration agents arrested Darwin Alberto Gomez Corrales, an Uber and Lyft driver, in the parking lot of the WOW Supermarket in Charlotte. His wife, who identified him as an undocumented immigrant, stated that she does not understand the reason for his arrest. Gomez CorRALes is currently in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody in South Georgia. His family is seeking answers about the arrest and whether it was part of a targeted operation. His release comes as Channel 9 has reached out to ICE for information about the basis for the arrest.
