Police in Colorado are investigating after a family's dogs were twice sickened by methamphetamine-laced hot dogs. The incidents, which began in November, occurred when Jillian Frank found a hot dog on her patio and opened it with a crystal-like substance that later tested positive for meth. The family initially assumed it was a random act of animal cruelty. However, a second incident occurred on Dec. 26 when Frank noticed her dog acting strangely after eating something from the yard. The most recent incident involved Frank's sister, Annalyn, taking her dog to the vet after she noticed him acting strangely and a urinary test came back positive for the meth and the psychedelic MDMA.
