Helen Zille, a 75-year-old politician running for the position of mayor of Johannesburg, South Africa, took a unique approach to highlight the city's failure to manage repairs. In a video posted to her Facebook, Zille demonstrated that a large pothole is the result of a burst pipe and has been present for three years. The current mayor, Dada Morero, had the pothhole filled and issued a video explaining the issue. However, a video from the DA Joburg Caucus reported that the pipe had burst again. Zille is currently running against Herman Mashaba in the upcoming mayoral election.
