Scoop: White House workshops plan to bring back Anthropic

The White House is reportedly working on a draft executive action to allow agencies to bypass Anthropic's supply chain risk designation and adopt new models, including Mythos. The move is seen as a way to "save face and bring Anthropic back into" the federal government. This follows a meeting between White House chief of staff Susie Wiles and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on how the company and government can collaborate. The White House has also met with Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to discuss the potential executive action. However, the dispute remains over an agreement allowing the Pentagon to use its model Claude for "all lawful purposes," which has been disputed by both parties.
