1 dead, 2 injured after Friday crash near Blue Ridge Blvd.

A car accident occurred near 46th Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, causing one person to die and two others to be seriously injured. The Hyundai Sonata was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed and ran off the roadway, overturning, catching fire, and sustaining serious injuries. The driver was pronounced dead the following day. The police are still investigating the accident.
