Germany's top diplomat in Qatar as he continues Middle East tour

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has arrived in Qatar as Iranian missiles and drones continue to rain on the Gulf region in response to joint Israeli-US attacks. This follows his recent visit to Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates in support of allies targeted by Tehran. He plans to hold talks with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister about the war, which saw Iran target US military bases in the region. The attacks continued on Wednesday, with Qatar, Saudi Saudi Arabia and Kuwait reporting intercepted drone and missile strikes.
