Former teammates of the Miami Heat basketball team, Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem, have revealed that the inspiration behind LeBron James' performance in the 2012 Eastern Conference finals against the Celtics was due to the team bus malfunctioning. The incident occurred during Game 6 of the game, which James described as the greatest individual performance in a playoff game in NBA history. The team bus ran late and James was infuriated by the delay, leading to his performance. James scored 45 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and had five assists, leading the Heat to win the series in seven games and later win their first title together.
