The changes to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland, not Walt Disney World, are being made to make significant changes to the park's Star Wars Sequel Trilogy era. The changes will include changes to Batuu, also known as the Black Spire Outpost, which has been criticized for its strict adherence to a specific timeline in the Star Wars canon. Characters such as Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Darth Vader will now roam through specific areas of the land. The original Star Wars Trilogy will join the Galaxy's Edge timeline starting April 28, 2026, and the sequel trilogy characters will be relocated to the forest area near Rise of the Resistance. Music has been absent since the start of the park, which is expected to bring new energy and vitality to the land and make it more engaging and more engaging for both casual and diehard fans alike.
