The fourth mainline entry in the 4A Games series, Metro 2039, has been revealed at the Xbox First Look event for fans of the franchise. The game will be a story-driven single-player campaign, with a new protagonist named The Stranger, who will be the series’ first fully voiced lead protagonist. The event also included a brief preview of mixed gameplay and cinematics, highlighting familiar hand-crafted weaponry, gorgeous visuals, and a preference for using in-game objects rather than a traditional UI. The release date for the game is set for winter.
