Afghan families are searching for their loved ones at a drug rehabilitation centre in Kabul, Afghanistan, which was bombed by Pakistan in the deadliest incident in the months-long conflict between the two countries. Relatives gathered at the site to find out if loved ones were alive or dead, or if they had been moved elsewhere. The Taliban claimed the attack was a Pakistani airstrike. The Afghan interior ministry said some bodies were being pulled out of the debris late on Tuesday night and being handed over to families. Most of the bodies are yet to be handed over, although some are intact and others are completely destroyed. Both Pakistan and Afghanistan have disputed the target of the air strike. The EU, UN agencies and international aid groups have called for immediate de-escalation.
