OpenAI's Fidji Simo takes medical leave, announces leadership changes

Fidji Simo, the CEO of OpenAI, has announced several leadership changes and is taking a significant medical leave due to a worsening neuroimmune condition. Simo was hired by the company in May and relapsed a few weeks before her start. She announced that OpenAI President Greg Brockman will oversee product in her absence. Meanwhile, Brad Lightcap, the COO, will transition to a new role focused on "special projects".
