Over a dozen House Republicans are urging the party to pass a second reconciliation bill to further President Donald Trump's agenda ahead of the midterms. The SAVE America Act is stalled in the Senate, and the conservative Republican Study Committee's (RSC) framework for reconciliation policies suggests a second bill could accomplish more of the president's priorities while the Republicans hold both houses of Congress. However, there are concerns that the bill cannot pass due to the thin GOP House majority and approaching midterms, but some lawmakers are pointing to the RSC's framework as a crucial step forward.
