Jury fails to decide if former University of Brighton student supported Hamas

Former University of Brighton student Hanin Barghouthi was accused of expressing an "opinion or belief" in support of Hamas during a speech at a rally in Brighton, East Sussex. The jury was unable to decide after 15 hours of deliberations. Barghosti claimed she did not know the full details of the 7 October attacks at the time of the speech.
