North Carolina Central University has secured its first-ever national championship in the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge. The team won over Hampton University, claiming the title and a $100,000 grant. The competition, established in 1989, showcases the academic skills of HBCU students through head-to-head trivia. The win was a significant achievement for the university, which had been chasing an HCSC Championship for 37 years. The winners also received a $10,000 championship game prize, a $2,500 All-Stars award for their top scorer, and a £500 prize for winning the 'ultimate challenge' category in the championship game.
