A hot day is expected for the next day in Arizona, with temperatures expected to reach near 100 degrees, 19 degrees above normal and one degree above the record high. Temperatures are expected to remain in record territory through the next week, marking 13 consecutive days of record highs for Phoenix. No rain is expected in the Valley, but high country communities could see rain and thunderstorms both Sunday and Monday.
