Ryan Gosling has officially departed from the untitled film from Oscar-winning directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, due to scheduling conflicts. The film, which is backed by Universal Pictures, is set to begin production later this year and will be looking for a new leading actor. This decision comes amidst a major casting shake-up due to Gosling's busy schedule, including commitments to Amazon MGM's Project Hail Mary and Shawn Levy's upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter. The untitled movie's release date has been delayed to November 19, 2027.
