2 University of South Florida doctoral students were promising young researchers. Now a roommate is charged in their killing

Zamil Limon and Nahida Bristy, two Bangladeshi doctoral students from the University of South Florida, were last seen on April 16 and last seen later that same day at the Natural and Environmental Sciences building on campus. Limon was found dead on the Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa, Florida, and Bristy was last seen at their shared apartment later that day. The two students, who started out as friends and developed feelings for each other, were planning to marry after completing their PhD. After completing his PhD, Limon hoped to return to Bangladesh and get a job as a university professor.
