The Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau has suspended a male employee from a tax office in Hyogo for one month. The employee purchased 2,251 horse and boat racing tickets while on duty. He also failed to declare his winnings on his tax returns. The investigation also revealed that he submitted fraudulent loan applications to the Ministry of Finance Mutual Aid Association twice.
