The hospital has seen strong demand from families across the state, particularly for children with anxiety, depression, and emotional crises. Some students have even moved part of their education to the hospital due to severe anxiety. The need for expanded services was cited as a primary reason for the new facility. Officials also highlighted the need for parents to watch for sudden behavioral changes, withdrawal from friends or activities, difficulty functioning at school, or signs of self-harm.
