The city of Dallas is set to spray for West Nile Virus on May 9-10. The area is generally bounded by 13800 Garden Grove Dr., Dorothy Nell Dr. on the north, Cedar Bluff Ln., and CF Hawn Freeway. While the United States Environmental Protection Agency approves the insecticide used for treatment, residents in these areas should stay indoors during these hours. They are advised to remove standing water from their homes to prevent mosquito breeding and the spread of the virus.
