N.J. cop bitten by bystander while trying to help critically injured dirt bike rider

A police officer was bitten while trying to help a critically injured dirt bike rider after he collided with a vehicle in Newark, New Jersey. An unknown male intervened and bit the officer, causing him to lose consciousness. The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. and was reported at the same time as the vehicle driver. The person involved in the altercation was taken into custody and no charges have been announced.
