A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a pickup truck in Stamford, Connecticut. The incident occurred at the intersection of Strawberry Hill Avenue and Colonial Road. The driver, a 50-year-old Stamford resident, remained at the scene and was issued a ticket for not giving the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
