Chardon, Ohio, has chosen a local company for its trash and recycling services, Dumpster Bandit LLC, replacing Waste Management, a national company based in Texas. The new five-year agreement allows residents to pay a fixed monthly rate of $18.01 for combined trash and recyclation, and for trash-only service, $13.92 per month. Senior residents will continue receiving a 10% discount, and existing discounts will automatically transfer under the new contract. Collection schedules will remain largely unchanged. The service will only cover residents within Chardon city limits.
