Powerful winter storm heading toward the Twin Cities

A powerful snowstorm is set to arrive in the Twin Cities, potentially one of the largest in Minnesota in several years. The National Weather Service predicts that between 12 and 18 inches of snow will fall across the region and into western Wisconsin. Delta Air Lines, the largest airline in the Midwest, has cancelled hundreds of flights this weekend. Forecasters are warning people against driving due to the heavy snowfall and high winds.
