The heaviest snowfall will mainly occur in southeast ND and the central and northern Valley, with total snow amounts expected to reach 3 to 6″ on I-94 and in Lakes Country by Sunday afternoon. Strong winds are expected late Saturday into Sunday, with gusts reaching mid-30 to 40+ mph. Travel conditions could be difficult as winds will be strong, potentially causing significant travel disruptions. An upper-level disturbance will also bring snow showers and light accumulations into the region on St. Patrick's Day, with temperatures expected to remain in the 20s to low 30s.
