No death penalty for North Carolina man accused of killing housekeeper

Matthew Jared Vukmer, 53, is accused of murdering his housekeeper, Paula Floyd, on March 6. The death penalty was removed during a hearing at the Orange County Courthouse. The case is currently being investigated by the Department of Justice. Vukm remains in custody at the county jail.
