Khetanya Henderson, founder of Khetanya's first pilates studio in the West End, opened its doors in 2025. KKRU, which stands for "Keep Reaching Up," is located near Portrait Coffee and The Wren’s Nest. Henderson discovered Pilates as a supplement to her professional dance training and began teaching Pilates classes in Los Angeles in 2021. She also started her Pilates in the Park series, a nonprofit offering free outdoor classes from March to October. Despite the popularity of the series and increasing demand from online clients, Henderson longed for a space to call home. The studio's location, which was previously a physical therapy office, had room for a main studio and private suites, appealed to Henderson. KKKRU offers a full schedule of Pilates, yoga, sculpt, and sound-healing classes ($28 each).
