Miguel Rodriguez Rolon, a 31-year-old man convicted of raping and tying up an elderly woman, will spend decades in prison after Ohio police found one thumbprint from the crime scene. The victim, 87, awoke to find a man dressed in black and wearing a ski mask raping her and tying her up before leaving her tied up in her kitchen for three hours before discovering that he had stolen her car. Detectives identified the suspect through a thumbprint found on a bottle of disinfectant wipes. Rolon was convicted of two counts of rape, one count of kidnapping, and one countof aggravated burglary. He will also have to register as a Tier III sex offender and will face a long rehabilitation process.
