Italian energy company Eni has discovered a significant gas and condensate discovery offshore Egypt, with preliminary estimates of about 2 trillion cubic feet of gas initially in place and 130 million barrels of associated condensates. This discovery will help Eni support Egypt's goal of boosting its gas reserves and increasing production. The discovery was made following a binding agreement signed in July 2025 to renew the Temsah Concession for 20 years.
