Man who rammed car into Brooklyn Chabad Headquarters skips court after MDC ‘altercation’

Dan Sohail, the man facing federal charges for ramming his car into the Chabad World Headquarters in Brooklyn, has been absent from a scheduled bail hearing three times in the last two weeks. This comes after he reportedly got into an altercation with another inmate at the Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn. The incident occurred on Jan. 28 and carries a maximum three years behind bars. Sohay's attorney, Mia Eisner-Grynberg, told the judge that the state charges will be dismissed soon and she will ask for a bail hearing on the federal charges once that happens.
