Amir Fakhravar, an Iranian opposition leader, has been advocating for a constitution in his home country following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Fakravar was tortured while imprisoned in Iran for over five years, and formed the National Iranian Congress, which has pushed for regime change in Iran. He arrived in America in 2006 and has since advocated for a new constitution that will be constructed with collaboration.
