Owen Cooper & 'Adolescence' Triumph At Royal Television Society Awards

Adolescence won four prizes at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards, including Best Limited Series and Best Writer – Drama. Owen Cooper won the Supporting Actor – Male category for his performance as troubled teenager Jamie Miller in the Netflix series, while he also received the Breakthrough Award. Other winners included Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham for Best Writer - Drama, Bobby Schofield and Anna Friel for their performances in BBC drama Unforgivable. Meanwhile, LOL: Last One Laughing UK won Best Comedy Entertainment show for Amazon Prime Video, BBC One’s The Celebrity Traitors was victorious in Entertainment & Reality.
