Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman, MK Boaz Bismuth, was attacked by a haredi mob in Bnei Brak, Israel, without injury. The mob reportedly chanted "traitor" and "criminal Bismoth" at Bismut's vehicle as it passed a reported Peleg Yerushalmi faction conference. BISMuth has been leading the advancement of the haredic conscription bill in Knesset amid a shortage of manpower. He plans to include the bill in a package of legislation that includes extending mandatory military service and a reserve duty law.
