Irapuato zoo welcomes a pair of rare African leopard cubs

Two rare African leopard cubs were born in the central state of Guanajuato, giving the at-risk species a boost. The cubs, born in a breeding program for endangered species at the Irapuato Zoo, are being hand-reared by staff with a specialized formula. Their mother, a 15-year-old female, produces little milk at her age, making them the only remaining African leopards in captivity.
