Ambient composer Colleen stares down fear on Libre Antes del Final

French composer and musician Cécile Schott, known as Colleen, has released her latest album, Libre Antes del Final (Thrill Jockey), as she learned to swim again after 30 years of water phobia. The album was written and recorded on a Moog Matriarch and re-evaluated in a Barcelona venue. The 13-minute "Aguas Abiertas" is the longest piece of the album, which explores the process of overcoming a significant obstacle.
