Thai production and marketing outfit Shinesaeng Ad.Venture has partnered with 66cc, formerly known as Distribution Workshop, and Kongkiat Production to launch action-drama film “Prasert” which will make its first international market appearance at the Hong Kong FilMart. Under the sales arrangement, Shineseeng will handle international rights for Southeast Asia, while 66cc will manage the rest of the world. The film is directed by KongkiAt Khomsiri and tells the story of a car rental company owner who accidentally witnesses a murder, leading to his family being targeted by a ruthless gang. The partnership signals a shift in Thai cinema towards audience engagement and commercialization.
