Texas Tech Baseball lost 15-8 to CSU Bakersfield, ending their seven-game winning streak. Despite two home runs and three hits from first baseman Robin Villeneuve and two hits from Caden Ferraro, Texas Tech saw their seven game winning streak ended. CSUB (5-7) hit six home runs, with nine extra-base hits, denying Tech of another series sweep and a 7-0 home start. Despite a strong performance from CSUB's Nick Mascaro, the Red Raiders could not overcome a two-run home run from freshman Brendan Thompson to take a 14-5 lead. Despite the series loss, the team reached eight runs for the eighth-straight contest and secured the series victory by virtue of Friday's 17-4 win and Saturday's 14-3 victory.
