The Supreme Court is in its most significant term in recent memory, with many rulings expected by the end of June. The term, which runs from October to late June, involves debates over presidential authority, immigration policy, voting rights, civil rights, campaign finance, and more. One of the most watched cases involves the Trump administration's attempt to remove Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook. The court is also considering limits on coordinated campaign spending, which could change current rules on how closely a party can coordinate with a candidate’s campaign. Other cases include challenging mail-in ballot rules in Mississippi and challenging claims under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act that disadvantage minority voters. The justices are also considering the legality of state laws banning transgender athletes from competing in sports that align with their gender identity.
