South Bay Residents Warned About Mother's Beach Bacteria

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued a warning for the public to avoid swimming, surfing, and playing in the ocean at Mother's Beach. The warning was issued on March 10 for all swim areas at the beach due to elevated bacteria levels that exceed state health standards. The information is available 24 hours a day on the county's beach hotline.
