South Korea fighter jets collided due to pilots snapping pictures, report finds

South Korea's Board of Audit and Inspection found that two pilots inadvertently collided during a flight mission in Daegu. The wingman pilot, who was following the lead aircraft, had intended to take photos during the flight to commemorate his last flight with the military. He then asked another pilot to film a video of the wingman aircraft, which led to the collision. The air force attempted to fine the pilot 880 million pounds to cover the repair costs, but the pilot appealed the decision.
