Aaron Rankin, founder of social media software firm Sprout Social, sold a seven-bedroom mansion in Fontana, Wisconsin, for $14.3 million, the highest-priced Lake Geneva-area sale since June. The home was sold through a land trust to Milwaukee-based Eagles Wings Trust. The 10,960-square-foot mansion had not been publicly listed and was represented by real estate agent David Curry. The final private asking price for the Fontana mansion was $15 million. This sale comes less than a year after Rankin and his wife sold a five-bedroom, 9,350 square-foot Nantucket-inspired mansion in Winnetka for $3.9 million.
