Iranian parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said that U.S. officials failed to gain the trust of their Iranian counterparts during peace talks in Islamabad, Pakistan. This follows a series of previous incidents, including U.K. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and a war between Iran and Israel. The Iranian delegation, named "Minaab168," raised "forward-looking initiatives" but failed to win trust from the United States. Despite 21 hours of discussions, Vice President Vance said the two sides failed to reach a peace agreement.
