Mexican teenager, identified as Manuel Perez-Jimenez, has died while being held in custody of the US Immigration Service (ICE) following a presumed suicide. This is believed to be the youngest prisoner to die in ICE custody since President Donald Trump took office and began a nationwide immigration crackdown. The Mexican government has called for an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. The Detention Watch Network has reported that there have been over 42 migrant deaths in custody since the mid-20th century.
